Safe stay at Hotel Continental – Common areas

 

SAFETY SIGNS: we created specific safety signs in the hotels’ common areas in order to remind everybody of the need to keep social distancing.

 


SURFACES CLEANING IN COMMON AREAS:
the reception, the hall, the corridors, the toilets, the restaurant and all other hotel’s common areas are hygienised according to health recommendations with specific products and frequency.

 

 

HAND SANITISER DISPENSER: we installed hand sanitiser dispensers at every meeting point of the hotel, at the entrance and in the restaurant.

 

 

COMMON AREAS LAYOUT CHANGES: some of the furnishing in the common areas have been relocated, in line with the new laws, in order to favour the guests’ social distancing.

 

 

BAR: we moved the tables and chairs to ensure a proper distance between guests. Our barman will serve you at the table to avoid gatherings at the counter.

 

 

Safe stay at Hotel Continental – Check In


AT ARRIVAL:
once you get to the hotel, one person for family unit can go to the reception for the room assignment while the other guests can wait in the garden or other hotel’s common areas.
PARKING: guests can access the parking following the directions by our staff. We remind you that for safety reasons we are not allowed to move your car.
ONLINE CHECK-IN: we have in place a procedure to autonomously input all the data required thus speeding up the check in process. It will be enough to show your ID or passport upon arrival for a quick check.
RECEPTION: we have plexiglas shields and our staff has been trained; we are always ready to answer your request, using personal protection equipment.
USEFUL INFORMATION: all the info on the hotel and available services will be available via the QR-Code that you will find in your room.

 

Safe stay at Hotel Continental – Restaurant / Room


DISTANCING AT THE RESTAURANT: we rearranged the tables in our restaurant in order to guarantee that breakfast, lunch and dinner are carried out in all safety.
TWO SHIFTS: we now have two shifts for entering the restaurant. The time will be agreed upon reservation or at your arrival here at the hotel.

 


ROOM SANITATION: we use technologies and cleaning products that are highly efficient on every surface, object and furniture and clinically tested protocols for washing fabric.
The room will be available only after being subject to a sanitation treatment of surfaces and air, with the use of products certified as medical device.

 

 

Safe stay at Hotel Continental – Pool / Beach


SPACING: we increased the distance between beach umbrellas and sun loungers in order to guarantee an adequate spacing as per current norms and laws.
ENTRANCE: the staff will control the flow and make sure the maximum capacity is respected.

 


BEACH 32: at our private beach, we relocated all our beach umbrellas and sun loungers thus guaranteeing the respect of the norms put in place by the Emilia-Romagna region on safety at beaches.
FOOD DELIVERY: upon request, it will be possible to have lunch under your beach umbrella.

 

Safe stay at Hotel Continental – Health certification and staff training

 

CERTIFICATIONS: we have in place an action plan adapted to the situation and we acted accordingly to recommendation by health authorities at both local and national level in addition to the guidelines of the regional protocol.

 


TRAINING: our staff received a specific training on health protocols and will be at your disposal for any need, doubt or clearing on policies in place to better ensure the safety of your stay.

 

 

A few activities that are usually part of our programme will be modified and, if it will not be possible to ensure an adequate guarantee of safety, these activities will be temporarily suspended until official notices on health emergencies will allow them..

Avoiding gatherings is, in combination with hygiene, a base element for a carefree and safe stay.

What we wish to achieve is to not create exaggerated expectations for events or activities that we are not allowed to put in place and to avoid any objection on the price agreed upon during the confirmation process. If you find offers, list of services or entertainment programmes that include these activities, they refer to pre-covid periods (we are in the process of change this).
